Southeast Recycling Development Council

The South Carolina Beverage Association is a proud member of the Southeast Recycling Development Council (SERDC). SERDC is a coalition of eleven states united to develop and promote sustainable recycling programs. The SERDC region encompasses Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

“SERDC works to engage regional decision makers in understanding the recycled feedstock needs of the Southeast’s manufacturing base. Manufacturers use, need and will continue to use recycled feedstock. Our members understand that strengthening the recycling infrastructure also strengthens our region’s economic capabilities. Strengthening the infrastructure creates jobs and puts tax revenue directly back into the economy.”
